Do you need a degree to eventually become the manager of a 5 star hotel?

I mean a degree in hospitality? I'll have a degree but it will be in broadcasting, telecommunications and mass media. i want to have a career that involves travel, leisure, people and different cultures. do i need a degree to do that?Do you need a degree to eventually become the manager of a 5 star hotel?
They (as in some-places) actually have a hotel management degree... So I think that you MIGHT be able to work your way up to it, but by the time you get there some ';just out of college'; child (child in your eyes, lol) will get the job before you do..
