What type of Degree or certificates is needed to become a retail, hotel, or Branch manager?

You do not need a degree or certificate to become a manager. Although, a degree or certificate in management is an asset. In fact, having a business management degree does not guarantee you will become a manager. You have to have leadership skills, able to handle people, and most importantly, know about the business operation in your field.





Many retail, hotel, as well as bank managers started in a junior position and work their way up to management position. So if you want to be a manager, what you need to do is to learn as much as you can in you chosen field and get as much as experience you can.
