from one manager to another, don't believe the salary websites or hr resources......they won't know what works in your situation!

Get to know the managers in your area. Only they will be able to let you know the accurate salary range that you can safely expect. Be open to profit-sharing options, health care, etc.! It all adds up to your bottom line, no matter how you look at it!

If you earned 8.50 at front desk, and they want you to be front desk manager, settle for no less than 10.50 per hour, or equivalent.I just got offered a promotion at work and it's a hotel manager, what pay should i ask for? What is to little?
$89k is the median range for a hotel manager. ($63k low - $116k hi) There are many resources on line to look up average salaries.

Salary.com. Look up the job description for your location. Ask others in a similar position. Going from $8.50 an hour to $89k per year isn't going to happen.

How much additional responsability is it? Have you asked what the salary range is? That's probably the easiest thing to do.
