Is a Hotel Manager considered a Professional Job?

I am currently in College studying Travel and Tourism which leads onto a course in Management.

I'm from the UK and I was wondering if a Hotel Manager is considered a job to immigrate to another country?

Such as Australia or USA?Is a Hotel Manager considered a Professional Job?
Yes it is...

There are opportunities that abound in this field all over the globe... and it is a profession that has been highly regarded within most communities...

Here in my region of the USA... the tourist industry is a major input to the local economy...and the hotel business works directly with a lot of the city planners to facilitate any number of events throughout the year.... so, people in these positions are considered as key in the business welfare within the community at large....

Good Luck to You in all of your pursuits...

鈽?////Is a Hotel Manager considered a Professional Job?
Yes, with a 4 year degree and 2 years of experience you would qualify as a professional under the H1B work visa. However, the US has no shortage of hospitality industry graduates so finding an employer who can prove unable to find an American worker might be difficult. It could mean you'd have to work in a very, very undesirable location.
Yes it is. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

And in response to the above, money isn't the measure of success. If you can find a job that you like, that let's you go home and leave the stress behind, then you have won the game.
Hard to say. You won't get rich, that's for sure.

I agree with the poster below me, however, you need to be able to pay the bills.
