Sorry Moonrise, what is the problem here? This belly dancer is working in the hotel, the guy is the manager of the hotel,,, so , Indirectly , his salary comes partially because of her dancing. (he is not a saint , I mean).I could understand , that there wll be a problem if he was a university professor and she is a belly dancer, but both are working in the same field , the entertainment ,,, both have almost the same clients, not only that, but he is earring partially his money, from her effort lol





Some times the truth is hurting,, but ,,, that is the plane truth...

I think if they are consenting adults then everyone should mind their own business, and ';judge not let ye yourself so be judged';.


I know these are Biblical words but I am sure I could find similar in the Holy Quran. After all our beloved Prophet married a much older woman and that would have be a source of social scandal in those days.

A belly dancer is a professional person and a manager is just a glorified desk clerk.


I must admit I am quite shocked by your question, if it at all reflects your approach to life and people.
artists deserve respect as any other person. he's ';just'; a manager as she's ';just'; a dancer. i don't think job positions should determine whether ppl. should get involved or not. let them follow their desires without hindrance, they probably won't listen to others if they love each other anyway. i wouldn't mind if one of my children married a former prostitue as long as they loved her + felt she's the one...note, i'm not saying she's a prostitute. ;)
So what if she's a performer? She's an artist and making a living out of it. It's a job like any other. And even if he's a hotel manager, he still works in the same place ya3ni he's not better than her! If they want to get married they should go ahead and get married, after all she's marrying him not his family.
