I have worked in the hotel industry for a little over 2 years at the front desk and want to move up eventually to a hotel general manager. I have been offered this management position but with no prior management experience i am unsure of a reasonable salary. It is a full service hotel 130+rooms and meeting room for 600+ I am very hard working and dedicated 125+% to my job.I have been offered a position as Hotel Front Office Manager What is a good reasonable salary?
Go to salary.com and type in the job location and the job title. You may be able to indicate your experience and possibly more-sometimes the job titles are broken down into specifics. This is free-there are some options that cost $, but just ask for the free part. It will give you the salary range in the area. It is not foolproof, but it gives you an idea. Look at it and see what is acceptable for you.That way you have an idea. I used this for a recent interview and I picked the low end and it was right on!
