What are the typical work times for a hotel manager (hospitallity management major)?

My GM is usually there from 8am until whenever. If you're going to become a hotel manager, you will work 5 - 6 days a week, up to 12 hours a day. 50 hours a week minimum most likely.





Any LARGE groups, conventions, or corporate visits you WILL be required to be at. I will one day get to that point, and I am just a supervisor now, but our GM is constantly there.





I have worked at multiple hotels and I currently LOVE our GM. His mentality is ';The guest is always right..... to their face.'; lol
