Is that true if I become a hotel manager I will have no life?

Also is that true that a hotel manager can earn more than $50 per hour?


There are lots of complains in yahoo answers about this job regarding that hotel managers should work long hours(12-14)and they don't have weekend.I have two children,Iike hospitality foer my major but if it works like that,then I think I should revise my major...I have'nt start it though thanksIs that true if I become a hotel manager I will have no life?
I'd say it is true. I'd say there are a lot of anti-social hours and headaches.





I'm sure you can make $50 per hour, but it really depends where you are working. Your local Day's Inn, probably pays $15 per hour if you are lucky. A Four Seasons, markedly more. But you are unlikely to walk into a $50/hour job right out of college. They want to see experience, so you have to pay your dues working in crappy hotels doing long anti-social hours.
