The catering manager is in charge of all the events that take place in the hotel. Such as weddings and receptions, business meetings that require coffee/water service or a large luncheon. Your in charge of budgeting sales, personell, kitchen staffing, the clean up afterwards. I do not know any salary info. Previous experience would be a must, this could come from college classes, or from working for a long time for a fine dining caterer, or restaurant that also has huge dining halls.
